The average headcount at all UC RUSAL’s enterprises (including non-Russian ones) in 2015 was 60,758, which is by 0.8% lower than in 2014. The group of staff (87%) are employed in three divisions: aluminium, alumina and engineering-construction. Staff turnover has slightly increased in 2015 (mainly in connection with the closing / mothballing of inefficient enterprises), but still is lower than in 2013 and 2012 (16% and 8.4% respectively). In 2015 the ratio of workers to DSO (directors, specialists, officials) was 81.6% to 18.4%.
Given the Company’s operating specifics, the majority of employees, including management, are men.
However, over the past year the number of women in leading positions has increased, including the number of women holding leading positions in senior management has increased by almost 50%.
